Ayahuasca is the name for a group of plants that contain MAO inhibitors. A combination of different types of plants which contain several indole alkaloids including psychoactive substance D.M.T.
The name Ayahuasca comes from the Quechua language and can be translated as "the creeper of the soul." In Quechua means Aya, dead ancestor or soul; huasca means rope or vine, named for the type of Banisteriopsis liana, caapi, a main ingredient in one of the many different ayahuasca brews out there.
Ayahuasca is used by Indian tribes in powerful and healing rituals in the Amazon rainforests of South America. Where the use of it has started does nobody knows. The tradition is certainly a few thousand years old.

Our ceremonies are held only in small groups of 6 to 8 participants per ceremony so you can experience the most of the ceremony.

Once you're all nice calmed down and got acquainted with us and the participants, we will first start with a short walk through the beautiful landscape where the Iboga-
We will start with the intention of meeting. This is an important part of the ceremony because it is important to know for yourself what kind of intentions (goals) going into the ceremony. So you can get the most out of your trip.
The intentions may be pronounced in the group and / or symbolically in the form of a sacrifice or talisman to be placed on the altar. This is obviously not mandatory but recommended. If the intentions were discussed, we proceed to drink the Ayahuasca.
We put the inner journey continues in the (silent) ceremony room where your journey is carried in while enjoying serene meditative sounds. There will always be present accompaniment to the ceremony room there for guarantees that you are as comfortable as possible and continue its process. Ayahuasca is an inner and personal deep cleansing process by which each makes his or her way. Since we, the team, be very aware of it and will do everything to give you the settings you need at that moment. Several times Ayahuasca will be donated.
You may drink several times so that the amount is tailored to your personal needs. It is also possible to leave the (silent) ceremony room during the ceremony so you can talk or move in an equipped room without disturbing the others in their process.
